Gratitude Project - Week 21

What a great, but crazy week! We start off this gratitude post in NYC. YAY. Being in NYC is really gratifying to me. I love it so freaking much. I think that each time I go I fall in love with it more and more. I spent the rest of the week working and being outside. I think the weather is the nicest it's been all year so far! WOO, YEAH.

DAY 141

Finally got to reunite with my friend, Humberto, today and had an amazing lunch at Terri's! So good!

DAY 142

Can I have Chloe's for breakfast everyday? I had such a great weekend in the city and had a ton of fun eating my way through the weekend, as usual! But with that being said I'm ready to get back into my routine of simple foods and ignore checking out my credit card bill from the past few days for as long as possible. Haha.

DAY 143

Slept in today and got in my workout this afternoon because let's be honest, the NYC food hangover was a struggle but I got off of work, made some watermelon juice, and went to work out with some friends and had a really good time with it once I got started. Easing myself back into the routine because self care is important!

DAY 144

Tonight I hung out in the woods with a cute little worm friend that I found. It was such a beautiful day and I've been spending so much time outside and offline. Before tonight I didn't turn my computer on since Friday. Of course I still used my phone but definitely in a decreased amount. I love when my life is so busy and full of positivity that I'm so focused on the present moment. Meditate, practice yoga, and eat plants = Happiness.

DAY 145

Feeling so amazing after a great, yet very hilly, bike ride with my friend. I rode a road bike for the first time! I always use a hybrid or a mountain bike so it was a cool experience and now I'm really wanting a road bike. I'll be looking into getting one very soon. I believe I'm going to start looking tomorrow. I also had these awesome pancakes as fuel for my ride. I ate the leftovers cold as soon as I got home! Im sure I'll be ravenous tomorrow because I already got in a run this morning and didn't expect an adventure like I had tonight. Bring it on! I had such a fun night and I'm feeling so happy.

DAY 146

Warm evenings when the birds are singing and the sun begins to dance with the moon, I decompress. I lay in the grass and look towards the sky letting the days lessons melt into the earth. I renew my vibrancy by taking in all of the natural energy vibrating amongst me. I breathe in. I breathe out. I know that I'm exactly where I need to be.

DAY 147

Tonight Darrin came home for the first time in 3 weeks! We went to my sisters graduation and then skated afterwards while the sun went down!

That's it for this week! Thanks for joining me and make sure to share little moments of gratitude with me so we can keep the good vibes flowing. Much love. x
