As you can probably tell, I'm into oatmeal again. You'll see it on my Instagram as well as here in delicious recipe form. There's just something about eating oatmeal out of a glass that makes it better. Try it. It's a good experience.
Oatmeal is an all or nothing thing for me. I'm either eating it multiple times per day every single day or I'm not having any for weeks. That's how I am with a lot of things actually. I want it all or I don't want it at all.
This is a simple recipe for everyone. I share a lot of chocolate and peanut butter recipes because those are my jam. But I know that everyone's not into that so this is something that we can all share and enjoy. Plus, the oatmeal recipe is super versatile so you can use any toppings that you'd like. OATMEAL BREAKFAST PARFAIT
1 cup cashew milk
1/2 cup oats
1 teaspoon ground flax seed
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Combine milk, oats, flax seed, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt into small saucepan over low heat. Let cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes or until oatmeal reaches desired consistency. Remove from heat. Place half of the oatmeal in small glass, layer with blueberries, more oatmeal, apples, and top with almond butter and cashew cream. Serve, enjoy!
