Coco-Nutmeg Bliss Balls

Anyone else completely obsessed with bliss balls? I know that I can't be alone when it comes to being head over heels in love with these gooey little creations. There is just too much to love about them to not be obsessed. You can make infinite flavors and sizes that will satisfy your sweet tooth for hours on end.

While making these I just kind of did it. I love just trying things and seeing what happens. Experiments are so good for the soul. I went with my intuition and put ingredients in that I knew I wanted to eat. No plan, just bliss balls in mind. I trusted that I'd create some good stuff. And that's exactly what happened.

A soft, sweet encasement of warming spices and a hint of coconut combined for a favorite on the go snack. Let's get to blending.

COCO-NUTMEG BLISS BALLS

makes 6-8 bliss balls

2 cups dates, soaked for 10 minutes
1/3 cup walnuts
1 tablespoon lucuma powder
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Shredded coconut

Add dates, walnuts, lucuma, hemp seeds, and nutmeg to blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Remove from blender and roll into medium sized balls. I find that wetting my hands makes it easier to roll them out without being too sticky. Coconut oil on your hands or letting the dough set in the fridge to cool down would work too. Once balls are made, roll in shredded coconut. Serve, enjoy!

Keep up to 7 days in the refrigerator.
