80/10/10 Cherry Mango Bars

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing a super awesome recipe with you. But first I want to talk a little bit about my diet. I've briefly mentioned that I have been doing Raw til 4 - 80/10/10 which means that I eat all raw foods until dinner and 80% of my calories come from carbs, 10% come from fats, and 10% come from protein. If you follow me on Instagram you'll see more "behind the scenes" and see that I've been playing around with it for a few months now and decided to go "all in" a little while ago. I was kind of hesitant to do it because of all of my recipes here and that's why I've been sharing a lot of nut-free recipes! I'm not going to stop using nuts or really change anything. But I'm trying to add more of a variety of recipes for anyone and everyone to enjoy! I'm excited about it and I hope you guys are too. If you ever have any ideas or requests please send 'em my way and I'll see what I can do!

But lets get back to the food; cherry mango bars. Four simple ingredients. Seriously! So easy, so delicious. I ate the whole recipe and it was glorious. I know you'll enjoy it too, so what're you waiting for? Get to the kitchen and treat yourself to these little guys!

Cherry Mango Bars

serves 2

2 cups of dates
2 tablespoons water
1 mango, sliced
1/4 cup cherries

Blend dates and water together. Remove from blender and make 6 medium sized bars. Layer twice with sliced mangoes, creating 2 bars. Put cherries and left over mango in blender and pulse a few moments. Remove cherry, mango mixture and top bars with it. Serve, enjoy!
